These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Security Desk. Read carefully — by using the platform you accept these terms. Contact legal for questions.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Security Desk you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any documents incorporated by reference. If accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. The Service

Security Desk is a cloud-based security management platform providing monitoring, incident logging, patrol management, access control integrations, analytics and related services. Exact features depend on your subscription plan.

  • Service availability and scheduled maintenance may apply.
  • Third-party integrations may have extra terms and costs.

3. User obligations

When using the Service you must:

  • use the Service lawfully and in compliance with these terms;
  • keep account credentials secure and report compromises;
  • not perform vulnerability testing, scraping or reverse engineering;
  • ensure any uploaded data is lawful and you have necessary rights.

4. Accounts & access

Certain features require an account. Account owners are responsible for activity under their accounts. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches, suspected fraud or unpaid fees.

5. Fees & payments

Fees are set out in your Service Order or pricing plan. You agree to pay all fees and taxes when due. We may suspend access for unpaid accounts and charge interest on overdue amounts where permitted.

6. Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation follows the procedure in your Service Order. Refunds will be handled in accordance with that order and applicable local consumer laws.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months prior to a claim to the maximum extent allowed by law. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses including lost profits or loss of data.

7.1 Security disclaimer: We provide tools to improve security but cannot guarantee prevention of all breaches. You remain responsible for on-site controls and personnel supervision.

8. Data & privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. You are responsible for lawful collection, processing and consent for any personal data you upload to the Service.

  • Data export: you may export your data prior to termination.
  • Retention: we may delete data after account termination per retention schedules.

9. Intellectual property

We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Service. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach following notice and any required cure period. On termination you must pay outstanding fees and data may be archived or deleted.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws specified in your Service Order or, if none, by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes should be referred to the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed.
